None. The extension has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising or affiliate code, and makes no network requests of any kind. Nothing about you, your browsing or your audio ever leaves your device.
Your settings — volume level, night mode state and strength, equalizer bands and the chosen preset — are
saved per website in the browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own
computer. This storage is readable only by the extension itself. Removing the extension deletes it.
SoundLift does not request access to your data on all websites, does not read page content, does not see your browsing history and cannot act on any tab you have not explicitly activated.
All processing is performed locally by the browser's built-in Web Audio engine, inside the page you activated. No audio is recorded, buffered for transmission, or uploaded anywhere.
There are none. No third-party libraries phone home, no SDKs, no external endpoints. This landing page itself loads a web font from Google Fonts; the extension does not.
SoundLift is a general-purpose audio utility and is not directed at children. Since it collects no data, it collects no data from children either.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date. Any change that would involve collecting data would also require a new permission, which Chrome would show you before it could take effect.
